Article Wan describes awards organizers as disrespectful

Bright Homenya popularly known in showbiz circles as Article Wan has bashed the organizers of the just ended 3 Music Awards for their negligence of duty.

According to Article Wan, 3Music Awards nominated him in the hiplife song of the year category but never gave him a ticket or invite for the show that happened on Saturday 30th March 2019 and describes that as disrespectful and discouraging.

In an interview with Sammy Flex in the studio of Zylofon 102.1 on Showbiz Agenda, he added that he doesn’t understand why he was not nominated in the best collaboration of the year and Popular song of the year both in the 3Music Awards and Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, because his song with Patapaa dubbed “That Thing” is big and has received some international awards already in South Africa.

“It`s not as if we need awards to survive but the fact is also that you need it to tell the next generation that you have done something before” he revealed when asked whether he needs awards to survive.
