More prophecies are pouring out from men of God as Ghanaians wait patiently for the final verdict of the Supreme Court on the ongoing electoral petition.
The latest prophecy is not on who will win the case but rather, it is about who would become the next chairman of the Electoral Commission (EC).
According to Prophet Samuel Amoakohene, Founder and Leader of Redemption Praise Ministry in Accra, God has revealed to him that Mr Kofi Annan, former Secretary General of the United Nations, would be made the next EC boss.
Prophet Amoakohene, in an interview with The Enquirer at the paper’s offices in Accra last Saturday, said that all men of God, traditional rulers and opinion leaders should prevail on Mr Annan to take up that position.
“God has revealed to me that Mr Kofi Annan went to the UN to learn something and bring it back and this is the time he has to work for Ghana,” he said.
He told The Enquirer that Mr Annan should not reject what God has said because in the Spiritual realm he is a symbol of peace.
Prophet Amoakohene told The Enquirer that God has indeed heard the cry for peace in the country.
“The thing about Mr Annan is that when he takes the seat as EC boss everybody will accept what he will come out with,” he said.
According to him, Mr Annan should not feel that the position of EC boss was smaller than his previous UN appointment, but rather accept the offer.
“It is clear that God wants to use Mr Annan to secure the future peace of Ghana for good,” he said.
Prophet Amoakohene said that he and his congregation prayed for peace and that was what God revealed to him after those months of prayers.
“Evil forces had earlier gathered to cause distraction in the country, but God is on our side,” he said.
Prophet Amoakohene said that Ghanaians should not take his prophecy as ordinary because God has the peace of Ghana as priority.
“Mr Annan will take us to a level that God wants and everybody must rally round and plead with the former UN Secretary General,” he said.
