Animal print trend – How do you wear it?

Incorporating a bit of animal print into one’s wardrobe is more of a classic than a trend. The question isn’t ‘should you’ or ‘should you not’ own an animal print.

Every fashionista must own at least a piece of this print, be it a dress, a top, a pair of shoes, a scarf, or a bag. The question therefore is – how do you make it work?

Animal Print and Color Clash: A new way to wear animal print is to team it with bright colors. Now, not everybody has the heart to apply this idea, but it´s worth a try. The key here is to go for only one single vibrant color. One great color that is certain to stand out is green. There are many shades. My favorite is emerald green, but deep green, getaway green or pebbled green are also good. And then, create a match. Let your shoes be green as well. But shades of pink, orange and pastels also work well with leopard print. Really, you just have to find your color.

Classy Combination: You just can’t go wrong with classy combination of black-and-white and leopard print.

The Romantic: Leopard print has a wild connotation to it, but if you combine it with something romantic, like this pleated maxi skirt, the leopard isn’t that wild anymore. You get an interesting look – it says that you can be both delicate and tough.

Casual Look: If you are a fan of casual style, you can have some fun by mixing seemingly incompatible styles and prints. Wearing leopard print with jeans is pretty common, but this particular set is also an example of mixing prints and mixing styles. If you feel comfortable, you can mix leopard with other prints such as geometric prints, stripes and even romantic floral prints.
