Ama K. Abebrese gets a salute from the Diaspora Award for Leadership

Award winning actress, presenter and producer, Ama K. Abebrese has added another feather to her already occupied hat with a salute to the Diaspora Award for Leadership at an event which took place at La Palm in Accra, Ghana recently.

The honour was presented to her by Ambassador Erieka Bennett, who is head missions and founder of the A U Diaspora African Forum Mission.

In gratitude, she wrote on her Facebook wall, “I was not expecting it, though it came as a shock, but a pleasant one and I am grateful.”

Other notable faces who were presented with awards are Jim Iyke and Professor Atukwei Okai among others. On that same night, Rita Marley was also presented with her Ghanaian citizenship.
