All is set for Sonnie Badu’s 4th album live recording

All is set for Sonnie Badu’s 4th album live recording which is set to take place come November. The recording dubbed “African Gospel in Classical Hymns and Songs” would feature two top American Gospel artistes; Jonathan Nelson and Darwin Hobbs.

The album would be recorded by award winning sound engineer Danny Duncan, the renowned sound engineer who has also recorded the likes of Israel Houghton, Cece Winnans and Marvin Sapp. Others scheduled to perform on that day are Jumbo, Dare David, Blessing Ali and Jamel. Nigeria’s finest comedian Jedi would be the M.C. for the night.

Meanwhile Minister Sonnie and the SBM Team have all moved to American in preparation for the concert. As part of the preparations, the General as he is mostly called has released short excerpts of videos and some pictures on all his social media platforms to inform his fans of what to expect from the concert in America. Sonnie Badu also posted to his fans titles of some new songs he has composed for the 4th Album.

“I can’t wait to share the following new songs with u; Still You Reign, Free, Amazing God, Wone Alpha ni Omega, some new hymns and medleys, and Angels Cry (Sonnie’s gift of worship to Jesus), he reiterated.

He also hinted to his fans that he has a song that would feature Darwin Hobbs and a French rendition of his “Baba” song to feature Jonathan Nelson.

Already about 300 people have been confirmed to come from London to be a part of what could be termed a historical event.

So come Saturday, November 1, be part of the over 4000 believers whom heaven will visit in Maryland at the New Psalmist Baptist Church, 6020 Marian Dr. Baltimore MD 21215, for a historic Live Recording Concert. This historic concert promises to be the best from General Sonnie Badu.
