The reception to his entry was profound and epic.

Even without an introduction by the host, massive cheers, applause and the briskness with which the audience brought out their phones, ready to capture the moment was enough to set the pace for Akrobeto to deliver.

Approaching the podium in suit, the actor beamed with smiles.

But before he would read the bible verse assigned him, the actor would sign his signature: "My name is Akrobeto. A.k.a, who knows tomorrow," while pointing to his broad nose.

He read hilariously, butchering some of the words and skipping others like he does on the popular Real News show.

Having entertained the audience with the 6th lesson on the night, Akrobeto bowed out with a standing ovation.

The MTN Festival of 9 Lessons and Carols held at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair, La on Friday, offered MTN the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with customers, staff and other stakeholders and to thank them for their support throughout the year.

It saw performances from Cina Soul, eShun, Joe Mettle, Winneba Youth Choir, Kelvyn Boy, Medikal and Kuami Eugene.

The event was hosted by comedian, actor and television presenter Foster Romanus.
