Akrobeto to sue 'Guantanamofo Wo Krom' movie Producers?

Public Relations officer for Film Producers Association of Ghana, FIPAG, Michael Kwaku Ola has warned producers of “Guantanamofo Wo Krom” to stop disgracing Ghanaian movie producers with their unlawful act.

This was after Daniel Agyapong, one of the producers of the movie revealed on Kessben FM that his production house, “Paykenkran Studios” is not registered with the Film Producers Association of Ghana.

Ola who was a panelist on the entertainment show, questioning the movie producer on the Kessben Group of Company-owned radio station expressed his disappointment in the producer after Mr. Agyapong answered “no” to his question, “have you registered with FIPAG?”.

Danny, as he is popularly called, on Friday afternoon disclosed in an interview with DJ Roar that the movie was shot months ago contrary to what he told Zionfelix.com in a chat on Wednesday evening that the movie “Guantanamofo Wo Krom” is yet to be produced and will take three weeks to be ready for the market.

“We can use five days to shoot the movie after we have talked to all the casts. We have to get at least two of the actors on the poster for this movie. The marketers will actually decide when they will release the movie because it has to be submitted to the censorship board.” Daniel told Zionfelix.com Wednesday evening.

After Daniel’s interview on the Kumasi-based radio station, Akrobeto who sounded angry denied ever shooting a movie with such title.

The Kumawood superstar further revealed that the law will deal with producers of the movie if they claim he has worked with them on a movie last year with such a title.

Ghanaians woke up on Wednesday morning to see a new movie poster titled “Guantanamofo Wo Krom”.

“Guantanamofo Wo Krom” is a movie produced by Daniel Agyapong and Kwadwo Owusu Ansah, owners of Paykenkran Studios.
