Akorfa set for a full silver screen return

Veteran actress, Akorfa Edjeani Asiedu says she will be more vibrant in the movie scene from 2017 especially as she and others in the industry work to bring back TV theatre to the screens.

The actress, who has kept a low profile for a while now says her seeming absence is because she is selective about the scripts she accepts.

Akorfa tells Viasat 1 Entertainment that more will be seen of her from next year in the movie industry.

“I’m coming back with TV theatre hopefully next year, so my fans will be seeing me on TV soon. Also from next year, my colleagues and I are going to be doing a lot of stage productions as well, so you’re all going to see me back.”

Fans who have followed her career from its stage days will remember that she used to be called Alice. She dropped the name somewhere along the way preferring to go by her local name Akorfa.

With a career spanning over 2 decades, Akorfa Edjeani Asiedu, is a force to reckon with in the movie industry with several television series and movies to her credit.

With her superb acting prowess, just like many other veteran stars, one can only wait anxiously in full anticipation of a double-dose of Akorfa’s talent when she makes a full return unto our screens next year.
