Ahomka Wo Mu - VIP

VIP VIP has carved a niche for itself for its stage performances which are out of this world. They have ridden in wheelchairs, on motorcycles on stage, you name it. Nobody argues that they are indeed incredible dancers. They seem to have everything going for them, great lyrics, great dress sense, great beats, among others.

Their first album shot them instantly to fame, with songs like Mame Kwan, Rana Sala telling people that they were here to stay. Since then they have thrilled their fans with songs like Obaa Sweetie, Zo Mu Wasa, Money Lover, and Daben Na Odo Beba.

They are out again with their fourth album - Ahomka Womu and from all indications, this album will wreak havoc on the hiplife scene. The album has eight songs with three of them instrumentals. All the songs have great choruses and good rhythms and can be easily danced to, trust VIP to do what they do best.

Ahomka Womu the best song, in the highlife vein, the drums and keyboard run through. The chorus is catchy and will make you want sing along. It is an infectious song and easy to dance to. You simply cannot sit as the song rolls. The rap is also done excellently. They praise their woman and tell her that she has got a great body, a great face and an exceptional character. They will die with her. There is this part when the lady tells her man that his wish is her command in a pretty insistent way. The instrumental is good.

Sere Kakra features Tic Tac and Frank Mensah Pozo.It is also done in the highlife vein and is a bit in the mid-tempo vein but also danceable. Mensah Pozo`s smooth voice enhances the song. He does the chorus and most of the singing on the album. Tic Tac`s rap is also very good and adds to the song as he does ?the Oh, and Ha.? The chorus is fine and will get a lot of heads nodding. They say nothing can separate them from their lady and that had they not met her they would not have known what love is. It also has its instrumental on the album.

Ko-Oho is also another good song done in Hausa with a good beat, highly danceable. Those who understand and speak Hausa will be delighted with the song. The ?dondo? is used to create a great effect and chorus is also a nice effort. It features Little Kriyz.

Sisi Na Adie Wom features 2 Tee, who has hilarious lyrics and is bound to make people laugh. It opens with a warning that men must be careful about their waists as they have been told that if they do not take care of their waists it would bring them trouble. They give advice because if the men are not careful they might lose their jobs and their wives as a result. It has a good beat and is also a bit in the mid-tempo vein.

Other songs on the album on the album are Besin and Adoley. VIP used to have four members, namely, Lazzy, Promzy, Prodigy and Friction, but Friction went solo and now the remaining three make up VIP. The album was produced under Goodies Music Production.
