Afia Schwarzenegger raised by late Vice President Aliu Mahama

Outspoken media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger was on eTV's The Late Nite Celebrity Show talking about her new ambassadorial deal and being fostered by the late VP Aliu Mahama.

Known for her prime time radio show on Happy FM, Afia revealed;

“Growing up, I wasn’t a GIS [school] baby; I grew up like a normal kid. I have a wider family, my dad and my step dad who contributed equally in parenting me. I’m crazy because I was brought up by two daddies who raised me up and taught me how to say exactly what and how I felt.

“My dad always said my head wasn’t a wholesale so I shouldn’t keep anything in there that might drive me mad.”

Answering a question on whether she ever regretted saying something, she replied:

“I have never said anything that I have regretted. Keeping things in you only ends up troubling you so I always choose to talk about how I feel than keep mute.”

On growing up, the radio cum TV host revealed;

“I grew up in a Christian home and my education was a normal one. I lived some parts of my life in the northern region. My family was neighbors to the late Vice President Aliu Mahama who later became my foster father. I grew up in Vitim Estate. I was in Tamale for some time. I speak and understand about ten languages which include Twi, Dagabni, Zulu, Africaans and German.”
