Afia Schwarzenegger @ War with Gifty Anti & Delay?

Talented Ghanaian actress and comedian, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa now known as "The Original Afia Schwarzenegger" in her typical character walked out on award winning popular Television Presenter Gifty Anti at the just gone-by second edition of the Globa Radio and Television (RTP) Awards last Saturday October 13, 2012 at the Dome.

Gifty Anti, who won two awards on the night dedicated her first award “TV Morning Show host of the Year” to two of her junior colleagues from GTV and explained that they weren’t allowed to advertise their nominations on their station for their viewers to vote for them, unlike most of the other stations did.

When the well-endowed Gifty Anti came back on stage to pick up her second award for the “Television Female Presenter of the year” she acknowledged the other nominees in that category and said “I dedicate this award to two hard working ladies, my sisters who are causing trouble for me on air, Delay and Valentina”.

Gifty made a statement on stage to the effect that she has been trying to reconcile the former best friends Delay and Valentina who are presently at loggerheads over personality clash but all her efforts have proven futile.

Obvious Snub?

Ms. Anti-walked off stage heading towards the two of them who were both sitting on separate tables at the VIP side to present the award to them in an attempt to bring them together publicly but immediately Valentina saw Gifty approaching her, she stood up from her seat and walked off whiles Delay was still waiting.

The two used to be colleagues on the “Afia Schwarzenegger” Television drama series with Deloris Frimpong-Manso as the Producer whiles Valentina Nana Agyeiwa played the lead character as “Afia Schwarzenegger” in the self-titled TV series.

For some reason best known to them, they didn’t see eye to eye after a few months of Production which led to the resignation of Valentina from the series.

The scuffle between the producer of the show Deloris Frimpong-Manso known as Delay and the lead characters is the reason why Valentina Nana Agyeiwa has been replaced by Adom FM’s Bill Board entertainment show host Emmeliene Nanahemaa Acheampong.

Several influential people including Gifty Anti have tried on countless occasions to bring the two together but it looks like what separated them is too strong to bring them back together.

Only time will tell.
