Afia Schwarzeneger To Be Ordained Pastor

The Bible has said it already so it will not come as a surprise if I have to repeat the same statement here. “It is not those who praise and shout the name of God everyday in their lives who will get the opportunity to go to heaven when the opportunity presents itself”.

Once again, the good Lord sees the heart of man whiles humans see from the outward physical things.

Valerie Nana Agyeiwaa aka Afia Schwarzeneger will be graduating from a pastoral school on the 31st of July at Winners Chapel International. She was a student at Word of Faith Bible Institute (WUFBI) in Accra. She has been a part of the pastoral school for some months past and is now about to be ordained as a pastor. The curiosity of Flex newspaper knew no bounds so we were forced to ask Afia questions that need answers for our readers. Why will Afia decide to go to a Bible school, knowing very well she has chosen acting and broadcasting as her main profession? This was her response!!!

“Some people might think I want to complete the Bible school to preach in churches or may be start a ministry on my own, but that is far from that. You know that I am now into radio broadcasting and I interview pastors on my show as well. Because I would not want any pastor to deceive me with the word of God. I want to also learn the Bible with much seriousness to face them. I remember a pastor who quoted Romans 8:32 and when I checked, it was not what he told me.

I also want to be wise with biblical knowledge, that is why I am attending the bible school. I thank God that I have finished learning that successfully and will be graduating some few weeks ahead of me. I am thankful to all who supported me in that drive and I say God bless them” she told this writer in an interview after Showbiz Extra on Happy fm hosted by Dr Cann.

So, will Afia change her style of dressing after 31st July when she is finally ordained as a pastor? “I am not sure the character I portray on television is me. I am a different person from what my fans see me do on television. What I do on television is not me. So I will dress the same way but my attitude will be influenced a little from what the bible has taught me” she added.

Afia Schwarzeneger is the lead character in a popular Tv series also called Afia Schwarzeneger. She doubles as a broadcaster at Hitz fm whose programme comes on air on Saturdays 5-6pm. She is also a regular panelist on Happy fm`s showbiz Extra on Saturday morning. Afia has also started a campaign she calls Pick it Up: a clean up campaign.
