If there is a profession Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa will cherish in her life at this time of her career, there will be none than the local Tv series called "Afia Schwarzeneger" which has shot her into the lime light within the shortest possible time.
Though she started on the screen as a new face ready to make a mark for herself, she has now written her name as one person who can make things work in front of a camera.
Born Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, she has now gotten a new name which is getting all the attention she needs as an actress who is born to succeed in the acting field. Her influence in the local TV series has spread among the youth so easily with some ladies even mimicking her way of speaking and some of her dubious lifestyles as a character in "Afia Schwarzeneger".
Though so many celebrities have passed through the series to make names for themselves, Valentina has been playing the lead character all these while making her the face to watch out for any time the drama series is on. Therefore when last two weeks the leading actress went missing in action during the airing of the programme on Tv3 on Saturday evening, and the executive producer Deloris Frimpong herself was brought on the show, fans began reading meanings into her absence.
There were a good number of people who felt Afia`s absence was a clear sabotage from her boss, may be due to the fact that she was being hyped more than Delay. Things became murkier when on TV3`s “Hot Gossip”, Baby Dapaah alleged that Afia has been taken off the show (Afia Schwarzeneger) because of what she termed a girls-girls relationship Delay and Mimi has started.
Try as much as news reporters did to get to the bottom of the story, Delay was reluctant to speak to the issue when she was contacted last week. This pushed reporters to look at all avenues to have a word with "Afia Schwarzeneger" so she could reveal what was really going down to her fans.
In a phone chat with her last Friday, she discounted rumours of any rift between herself and Delay as people are speculating and promised to bounce back in the shortest possible time to star in the series which is still running on Tv3. Afia denied vehemently all the allegations making rounds in the media circles adding that the best of her is yet to be seen in the series.
This writer can also authoritatively report that he watched "Afia Schwarzeneger" last Saturday and saw Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa aka Afia doing her own thing in the series.
It will be recalled that last week two gospel artistes, Gifty Osei and Cecilia Marfo were severely censured by their fans for featuring in "Afia Schwarzeneger" describing the TV series as a worldly show not fit for gospel artistes.
Flex newspaper therefore wants to put on record that fans of "Afia Schwarzeneger" can now watch her every Saturday on TV3 saying “Na adzen” when things go wrong for her.
