Adom FM's 'Live Worship' nominated for Africa Gospel Music Awards 2014

One of the most famous radio programmes on Adom FM, Adom Live Worship, hosted by Kwamena Idan, has been tipped to win an award at the forthcoming Africa Gospel Music Awards (AGMA) scheduled to take place on August 24 in London.

The awards, which is in its fourth year, is being organised to celebrate the work of the sector, to showcase the talents, innovation and success of our gospel artistes.

The AGMA is an opportunity for one’s work to gain recognition and to inspire and unearth the God-given talents of others across Africa and the Diaspora.

Kwamena Idan’s activities on radio have probably inspired many people, and he is gradually making his way to the top.

Since his entry into radio, Kwamena has won the hearts of many radio listeners in Accra and beyond, and his name has become a household name.

Kwamena, who is keen on improving his performance and promoting the radio industry in Ghana, disclosed to the BEATWAVES that the way to succeed in radio broadcasting is to establish long-term strategies based on practical techniques.

He has worked tirelessly to make his presentations on Adom FM unique. He has also taken it upon himself to encourage the up-coming gospel musicians and presenters to learn from those already on the scene.

Although the 'Adom Live Worship' programme is one of the most listened-to programmes on radio, he would not rest until he reaches the top, stressing, “I will work hard to maintain a good image I have attained so far as I remain a presenter and always think of satisfying my listeners and admirers in whatever I do."
