Actress, Yvonne Nelson says all her colleagues in the movie industry have now resorted to "slaying" due to the collapse of the Ghana Movie Industry.

According to Yvonne, her colleagues in the industry seem to care less about the current status of Ghana's movie industry, which is why they are mostly seen engaging in all sort of activities on social media for attention.

Touching on government's failings, the actress said the government lacks focus.

"As for government and the arts( movie industry) them just dey do like them dey do something kerkerh." My peeps like I said are busy slaying so they don’t even know what’s going on!"

Meanwhile, on November 27, 2019, The actress questioned the conscience of Ghanaian leaders in a Twitter post saying; I wonder how our leaders feel when they land at Kotoka after visiting western countries....I really wanna know their honest feelings.

She further questioned the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo about when he is going to grant the ordinary Ghanaians a Q & A session.

"Mr President, when are Ghanaians getting a Q&A session/time with you?. Not journalists, or media personalities, I’m talking about (students, carpenters, drivers, doctors, waakye sellers, tailors, hair dressers, mothers. etc) we have a lot of questions." She stated.
