Actress Christabel Ekeh donates to Teshie Orphanage

Actress Christabel Ekeh on Monday, February 1, 2016 took time off her filming schedule to do some charity work.

The actress whose movie “Candle in the Wind” early this year premiered at the Silverbird cinemas is already in a good mood as we enter the month of Love.

The award-winning actress, together with friends and family visited the orphanage and made donations in the form of toiletries, Oil, Detergents, Bags of rice, cups, boxes of indomie, drinks, biscuits, clothes, etc supper was also provided by the actress. She further donated cash of thousand Ghana cedis(GHC1000) to help ran the place.

Speaking at the event, the actress stated that; “I am very happy within myself for being able to do a thing like this, I pray for strength and also pray that, just the same way It came to my thoughts to come here and help these orphans, others can be inspired by it”.

She further added, “This is not a very big orphanage home and there are not too many children over here, hence, Teshie Orphanage Home is on most occasions overlooked for that matter but that shouldn’t be the case. I will like to urge individuals who want to embark on this kind of activities to remember these kids here in Teshie”.

Christabel Ekeh is looking to visit several other orphanages in the coming days/weeks after completing her first charity project in 2016 yesterday.
