Accused defecates in Court

Kwesi Effirim, a 22- year-old unemployed, charged with unlawful entry and stealing, defecated in his cloth at the Sekondi Magistrate's Court, when the case was called for hearing on Thursday.

People started leaving the court when the stench from his cloth filled the room.

Mr Eric Baah, the Magistrate, remanded the accused in Police custody to re-appear on January 29.

The court went on a long recess before resuming sitting because of the stench.
