Accra Cocktail Week 2014 to hit the city in June

Residents of Accra would experience a week of fun and entertainment dubbed: Accra Cocktail Week 2014, which is an event to educate the consumer about cocktails and to fully promote Accra as a cosmopolitan city.

Organised by brand management agency, Sixth Sense Manifesto, the Accra Cocktail Week would take place from June 15 to 21 when the public gets the chance to sample new and preferred cocktail drinks at discounted prices from the over a dozen participating bars.

A statement released by the organisers says the Week will provide brands and bars the opportunity to exhibit their sense of class and service to consumers. Activities lined-up for the week include: Cocktail Masterclass, Mixologist Fever, Cocktail and Food Pairing, Cocktails with the stars and Ghana Vs USA/ Germany.

The statement added that there shall be a contest where a bar would be titled the 'Cocktail Bar of the Year' amidst the fun.
