Abu Trica explains how he was initially charged under a wrong name

Ghanaian socialite Abu Trica has disclosed that officers of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) initially charged him under a different name when he was arrested.

Speaking in an interview on Onua TV, Abu Trica revealed that the name on the initial charge sheet was Emmanuel Adu Baah, which he said is not his real name.

According to him, NACOC officers later discovered his actual identity after reviewing documents obtained through a search warrant.

“I think my passport was in their search warrant, that’s how they got my real name. Initially, it was Emmanuel Adu Baah,” he said

Abu Trica explained that the discovery prompted authorities to correct his details and proceed with the case under his legal name.

The socialite also opened up about the period he spent in custody, revealing that he was detained by NACOC for approximately one and a half months while making regular appearances in court.

His latest revelations come as he continues to share details about his experiences during his arrest, detention, and the legal processes that followed.

Abu Trica has in recent weeks spoken publicly about the challenges he faced during his time in custody, including the emotional and psychological impact the experience had on him.
