Ghanaian media personality, AJ Akuoko-Sarpong, has taken to social media to mourn the passing of her father, the Paramount Chief of the Asante Akyem Agogo Traditional Area, Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong.
In a series of posts, the acclaimed broadcaster shared a childhood photo of herself with her late father.
In one of the posts, which has since triggered reactions online, with many expressing their condolences, AJ Sarpong described herself as her father’s “little girl.”

“Always and forever Daddy’s little girl,” she wrote.
In another post on X, the media personality shared archival photos of her late father with former presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Evans Atta Mills.
“Legends never die, their legacy lives on forever,” she added.
Meanwhile, Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong passed away in the late hours of Thursday, March 26, 2026.
According to a report by Adomonline.com, he died after a short illness.
He died at the age of 88.
The late chief was a distinguished lawyer, politician, and the father of media personality AJ Sarpong.
