Multiple award-winning Ghanaian music journalist, content developer, promoter and PR expert, Elorm Beenie has given AJ Nelson’s latest project “Africa Rise” the ‘ultimate thumbs-up’.

According to the PR for Stonebwoy, Samini, Ras Kuuku and Grammy nominee Rocky Dawuni, AJ Nelson’s debut project which dropped on November 23 is ‘deep and sensible’ and that it can still work in this ‘polarised industry’.

He said the 16-track hip-hop, hiplife, afrobeats and soul album goes beyond ‘hype and gimmicks’, adding that ‘it’s an album that’d grow your subconscious mind, educate you, school you.’

He wrote on Facebook on Wednesday, December 5:

“Please, if you need to listen to some latest deep, sensible Ghanaian album released, #AfricaRise by my Brother AJ Nelson is the best I can suggest for you. It’s an album BEYOND “hype” and “gimmicks”.

It’s an Album that’d grow your sub-conscious mind, educate you, school you…production quality, his vocal clarity and choice of featured artistes….I’m awed!

Kudos to my Brother David Mawuli for the push and works behind the scenes. #SensibleMusic can still work in these times. Please get on aftown.com, iTunes, Spotify, Play Africa to STREAM & BUY.”
