6 most abused Ghanaians on social media

Ghana is an interesting country and from time to time an incident pops up and before you know it, memes are flying all over the internet to ridicule or create fun.

There has been many memes and politicians, pastors, musicians and actors have all had their taste of it.

We decided to make a list out of this situation to see those who had to taste the bitter pill whether for the good or bad of it. This memes were not just pictures but includes video memes as well. Let’s have a look.

1. John Dramani Mahama

The president of the country was not spared on this one, he had to also endure the impact of memes. There are many memes of the president of the country but the most popular one was when he mentioned on live TV that he’s a dead goat. This instantly sparked rage among Ghanaians with the comic ones creating memes of the president as a dead goat.

2. Asamoah Gyan

In the 2010 World Cup Championship, Asamoah Gyan the captain for the Ghanaian side missed a crucial penalty between Ghana and Uruguay that would have seen the Black Stars move to the next level in the tournament. This infuriated a lot of Ghanaians and but we still had that fun side where memes of the Black’s captain were created. There was one that Stephen Appiah seemed to be shouting at him and this was meme as if Appiah was insulting him but he later came out to explain he was rather encouraging him to move on.

3. Nana Aba Anamoah

In a rather unfortunate situation, Nana Aba Anamoah formerly of TV3 network, did an editing of her being at the Old Trafford watching match between Manchester United and Manchester City. This caused a lot of commotion in the country causing her to trend on social media with a lot memes about the situation. She was suspended for the act and she later resigned.

4. Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa “Afia Schwarzneggar”

This is a new one and it is about her trading of insults with Hon. Kennedy Agyapong. Since the incident, we’ve seen many cartoon and picture meme of the two trending on social media.

5. Kennedy Agyapong

He was not also left out, there are memes of him and Afia entangled in a romantic embrace.

6. Bishop Daniel Obinim

On a live TV interview, Bishop Dr. Obinim, a pastor in Ghana claimed that in the spirit, he could transform into a any animal he wishes. He cited an instance he was with Jesus in the spirit and they went to visit a church member he transformed into a lion and Jesus transformed into a Tiger and when they got to the member, she was scared so she took to her heels and so they stepped out and he transformed into a dog. He mentioned he could transform into any animal and he once transformed into a snake to bite the enemy of his members.
