24th edition of HALLELUFESTO scheduled for January 1

Hallelujah Festival (HALLELUFESTO), one of Ghana’s finest Christian gospel concert is marking its 24th anniversary with yet another power-packed concert of altruistic Christian music, drama, poetry and choreography programme in Tema on Monday, January 1, 2018.

HALLELUFESTO, since its inception in 1994, is an all-awaiting programme in Tema, celebrating talents, sharing ideas and evoking inspiration especially among the youth.

Gospel superstars Uncle Ato and Nii Okai will grace the occasion with spirit-led ministrations, with support from host groups like Treasured Possession and Potter’s Clay.

Over the years, artiste such as Joe Mettle, Nii Okai, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Ohemaa Mercy, Selina Boateng, Joe Beechem, Gifty Osei, Soul Winners amongst others have ministered at Hallelufesto.

According to organizers of Hallelufesto, Tema Christian Youth Fellowship (TYCF) this year’s program themed “FEAR NOT”; Deut. 31: 6, will be held at the forecourt of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (Community Center), in Tema.

Special guest of honour for the New Year’s Day event is Hon. Felix Mensah-La, Mayor of Tema.

A group of students came together as Methodist Students and Associates Fellowship (MESAFEL) now known as TYCF to start Hallelufesto. TYCF, since its birth, has touched and transformed lives in the fields of academia, career, social and family life
