A galaxy of stars were massively wanted at the Boomerang night club last Saturday when 2131, a banging Hiphop radio show decided to show their sense of humanitarianism for people living with kidney disease at the Korle-Bu hospital.
The event was in recognition to what the organizers of the show had gone through during a visit to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital's Kidney unit. Touched by what they saw at the hospital, the organizers were compelled to put up a show which will mount a huge campaign on this kidney disease and also raise some money to support people who have to go through some kidney operation at the hospital.
After several days of creating the necessary awareness, a big event was put together at the Boomerang night club where the proceeds at the gate will be given to the hospital to take care of some of the patients. Musicians, radio presenters, and movie starts were in attendance to show their love and support to fellow brothers and sisters who have been victims of this kidney disease.
