In what promises to be an advocacy for the arts sector and adds to the commemoration of the 2026 Ghana Heritage month, the Creative Arts Agency and the Ghana Library Authority, in collaboration with other state agencies and creative associations, have put in place well-planned activities to offer Ghanaians and tourists the opportunity to have a taste of the beautiful experience of the Ghanaian arts.
The package is under the title “Ghana Arts Experience”.
From performing arts through various domains of Visual art to audio-visual arts, “Ghana Arts Experience” will be an umbrella that creates the environment for the expression or showcase of Ghana’s beautiful tangible and intangible heritage through indigenous and contemporary arts.
The experience themed “Ghana, through the lens of the artists”, is a collaborative project by Creative Arts Agency of Ghana, Ghana Library Authority, Ghana Museums and Monuments Board, Bureau of Ghana Languages, Ghana Commission for UNESCO, the Greater Accra Centre for National Culture, and the Bureau of Ghana Languages and several creative arts Associations in Ghana including the Ghana Association of Visual Artists, Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (Greater Accra), Ghana Concert Party Union, Ghana Publishers Association, Ghana Association of Writers, Ghana Dance Association, Models Union in Ghana, and private organisations as AgrihouseFoundation, Lidodo Art Foundation, Cadling Fashions among others.

Designed to happen during the last two weeks of March, the Experience is set to present various activities as Inspire the Art-in-Me Tour, Art Exhibition, Fashion meets Culture: a walk showand conversation, the Ghana Concert Party Experience, Cine’ in the Street, Ghana Literary Experience, Skin Roars and Movements, The Arts Conversation, Rhythmz of our Land among many others.
“Details of the respective activities shall be detailed at a special event,” according to Gideon Aryeequaye, the Acting Executive Secretary of the Creative Arts Agency, who is a lead host of the project.
In another statement, he said, “The Ghana Arts Experience, as the Ghanaian Month commemoration from arts perspective, would be an annual event. And this year’s is but only a preamble to prepare grounds for the Ghana at 70 celebrations in a mega way.”
