2019 Kwahu Easter paragliding impact in numbers

The 2019 Paragliding Festival took off at the Odweanoma mountain at Kwahu Atibie on Easter Friday as part of activities marking the Easter festivities.

This year’s paragliding had 266 people participating of which 76% were non-resident Ghanaians.

About GHc1.9 million is an estimated amount of money international travellers spent in Ghana due to paragliding.

Top three nationalities of passengers who patronized the paragliding during the Easter period include 24% Ghanaians, 20% Germans and 7% Americans.

During Kwahu Easter festival, there is a business boom for hotels, commercial vehicles, restaurants, drinking bars among others because a lot of people from all walks of life visit the place to have fun.
