The past two weeks have seen Miss Ghana 2015 audition team tour Ghana searching for beautiful and talented ladies to represent Ghana at Miss World 2015.
The search train, which had its first two stops at Takoradi and Tamale, selected four and three ladies respectively from both regions.
The journey to select the final batch of ladies to join the seven selected ladies for this year’s beauty pageant started on Tuesday, September 8 at the plush and exquisite Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra, an icon in the Ghanaian Hospitality.
The audition attracted many beautiful Ghanaian ladies who trooped to the hotel to showcase their talents and convince the judges to select them as finalists.
The four affable judges, Inna Patty, Barrak EL-Mahmoud, Kafui Danku and Jackie Appiah had a back-breaking task of cutting down the numbers to eighteen (18) on the second day of audition where the ladies hijacked the Rawlings Park for a market activation.
The lucky eighteen (18) ladies who made it to the final day of audition showed how photogenic they were through an eccentric African photo shoot.
After this exciting photo shoot made possible by FC Skin and Beauty Klinik, professional photographer Barrak EL-Mahmoud of Capture and renowned designer Accents & Curves, the 18 ladies each appeared before the judges to make a presentation on any topic of their choice
After the in-depth presentation, the judges with mixed – feelings had to select the final fifteen (15) ladies who qualified from Accra.
The Fifteen ladies (15) who qualified from Accra are Candi Mills, Catherine Asantewaa Ansah, Rachel Madine Daniels, Eleanor Seku, Antoinette Delali Kemavor, Daniella Akorfa Awuma, Esther Anima Titi-Lartey, Patricia Morkeh, Adwoa Konadu Somuah-Boateng, Alexalyn Naa Adoley Owuadey, Larisa André, Ohenewaa Asare Jennifer, Mavis Nana Ama Ghanasah, Rachel Maeena Gyampah, Gifty Nyamakye, and Eugeneia Kesse Ampomah.
The grand finale of the Miss Ghana pageant is slated for October 2015.
