10th Italian Cultural Week launched

Accra, Nov. 19, GNA - Mr Tullio Guma, Ambassador of Italy to Ghana, on Thursday launched the 10th Italian Cultural Week scheduled for November 25-29 in Accra. The week would be celebrated with cultural activities, Italian film shows and jazz concerts featuring Italian and Ghanaian artistes, as well as tasting of Italian meals and wine.

Three different places in Accra have been booked for the celebration= : the Alliance Fran=E7aise, Citizen Kofi on the Osu Oxford Street, near Dan= quah Circle and the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel. The Ambassador said the launch of the Week was to promote Italian culture in Ghana and enhance dialogue between Accra and Rome. "Culture is dialogue of the best possible kind. It gives people, countries and continents the opportunity to increase mutual understanding=

and to expand the possibilities of sharing the cultural wealth of the world," Mr Guma said.
