NPP supporters urged to go to polling centres early

Koforidua (B/A), Dec. 6, GNA - Mr Peter Awisi, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Local Chairman at Koforidua, near Nkoranza, has called on the supporters of the Party to visit their respective polling centres early in order that they could cast their votes in time and then leave for their various workplaces.

Mr Awisi an emergency meeting to educate members of the Party on the electoral regulations and laws.

He advised the NPP youth to guard themselves against anything that could affect the success of the elections in their communities, as that would disturb the peace of the nation.

Mr Awisi reminded them that after voting for President J. A. Kufuor, they should also vote for the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the area, Mr Kwame Amporfo-Twumasi to win the Parliamentary Seat of the Nkoranza South Constituency.

The NPP youth should neither drink nor take any hard drug to the polling centres for that could urge them to misbehave at the place and to put themselves into trouble.

Madam Adwoa Donkor, the Women's Organiser of the Party stressed the need for the NDC members of the area, who have defected to NPP to remain faithful and vote for NPP during the elections for the Party to win the elections massively.

Meanwhile, Mr Eric Amoateng popularly called Nana Amoateng Ameyaw, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Nkoranza North Constituency has donated one million cedis to support the activities of the Koforidua branch of the Party.
