Pokua Sawyerr awards 12 students

The Member of Parliament for Agona East, Hon Queenstar Pokua Sawyerr has given awards to some twelve (12) pupils of Agona Namanwura school who are under her scholarship for excelling in their examinations.

The MP, as has been her character was enthused about giving to back to the society by helping the needy and less privileged.

Pokua Sawyerr presented awards to these students and also gave each child parked jollof rice and boiled egg as she partied with them.

The MP also visited the Namanwura Community Day Senior High School which was built by the John Mahama administration and presented sound system to the school to be used for their daily morning worship activities.

The MP who interacted with students entreated them to study hard so as to become responsible future leaders.

According to her, nothing in life is important than education and that Ghana needs the requisite human resources to man its various sectors and that that, can only be achieved when the younger generation are given the right education and training.

She pledged her continuous support for her constituents and hope for greater things to come their way.
