Former Ashanti Regional Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Yandoh, has expressed the view that the party now has members who can defend it against verbal and physical attacks.
Speaking on Wontumi FM, he cited social media personality Barbara Asantewaa Kodua, popularly linked to the Ghana Jollof TikTok account, and the 1st National Vice Chairman Kwadwo Fosu Boadu, known as Kojo Bamba, as people who could help the party respond to what he described as intimidation by members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to Yandoh, Ghana Jollof would respond to verbal attacks, while Bamba could defend party members against physical aggression.
This, he added, meant that the two individuals could provide a form of security for NPP members who felt threatened.
“Azorka, go and stand in front of Bamba and intimidate or insult him, and you will see. These people (NDC) have been intimidating us every day with some of the members. Now, that we have also gotten some members who can fight back for the party, they are complaining.
“We have Ghana Jollof, who will defend us with insults should anyone try to disrespect our people likewise; we have Bamba, who is able-bodied to fight for us physically when we are being bullied. This will help the party and give it some sort of security,” he said.
Yandoh’s comments follow Kojo Bamba’s shocking election as the 1st National Vice Chairman during the NPP primaries on October 3, 2026.
Kojo Bamba, a grassroots candidate with a background as a mechanic and a former Delta Force leader, defied poll expectations to win a key NPP position.
