Former Jubilee House Deputy Director of Communications, Yaw Preko, has thrown his support behind former New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary John Boadu, describing him as the best candidate to serve as the party's next National Chairman ahead of the 2028 general elections.
According to Yaw Preko, the NPP requires strong leadership, effective organization, and a unifying figure to rebuild the party and position it for victory in the next general election.
He argued that John Boadu possesses the experience and leadership qualities needed to lead the party and reclaim power from the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2028.
Speaking in an interview on Metro TV, Yaw Preko recalled John Boadu's role as the NPP's General Secretary during the party's successful 2016 election campaign.
He said Boadu played a key role in organizing the party at a time when it was rebuilding its electoral fortunes.
Yaw Preko further criticized the current NDC administration, claiming it has failed to meet the expectations of Ghanaians. He maintained that the NPP remains the better alternative for the country and called on party delegates to elect John Boadu as National Chairman.
He expressed confidence that under John Boadu's leadership, the NPP would become more united, better organized, and well-positioned to contest and win the 2028 general elections.
