Tensions flared on Accra‑based Amansan Television (ATV) during its morning current affairs programme when communicators from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) engaged in a physical confrontation on live TV.
The exchange, shared by SIKA OFFICIAL on July 29, 2026, showed the panellists engaged in heated argument as the host struggled to restore calm during a discussion on Ghana’s IMF bailout.
At one point, one of them was heard warning the other, “Osman, be very careful,” before hitting his fellow panellist.
The confrontation escalated as the other panellist retaliated, with both hitting each other until the programme was taken off air.
