Osei endears himself to Tamale NPP delegates

Kumasi, May 21, GNA - The Campaign Office of Mr. Isaac Osei, one of the five presidential aspirants of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed optimism that Mr. Osei would be elected at the August 7 National Delegates' Conference, to lead the party to victory in Election 2012. A statement issued and signed by Kingsley Antwi-Bosiako, the Media Manager, in Kumasi, said that the Office's confidence has been reinforced by the warm reception of Mr Osei's campaign message in all the constituencies he has toured.

It said that Mr. Osei continued to win the hearts and minds of delegates adding that his message of peace and unity resonates with majority of the people who would be voting at the party's conference. The statement said during Mr. Osei's visit to the Tamale North, Tamale Central and Tamale South constituencies, he was the toast of the party members, who described him as "goo-zabli", which in Dagbani means "unifier." It said that Mr. Osei asked the NPP delegates to elect someone who would be able to unite the party and bring all shades of opinions on board to enable NPP to win the 2012 polls.

The statement said the aspirant appealed to the delegates to make the right judgment by picking a competent person, ready to work with all party members to return NPP to power.

It said Mr. Osei would provide the needed leadership to mobilise NPP members for victory.

Alhaji Zabalga, Tamale South Constituency Chairman of the party, lauded Mr. Osei for being the first aspirant to visit the North. The delegates, he said, understood Mr Osei's message of peace and unity, and that they would do themselves a lot of good, if they vote for him. Mr. Osei also met with delegates at the Yendi, Savelugu, Kumbugu, Nanton, Kpandai, Wulensi, Bimbila, Mion and Salaga constituencies.
