Nyinahin (Ash), Dec.11, GNA - Mr Dickson Konjaang Timunbe, Atwima Mponua National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Secretary has congratulated polling agents of the party for the good work they did in the recently held parliamentary and presidential polls. "I thank all our polling agents for their vigilance, alertness, endurance, hard work and commitment to duty, which made the elections free of malpractices". He was speaking to Ghana News Agency at Nyinahin in the Atwima Mponua District of Ashanti on Thursday.

Mr Timunbe admonished the polling Agents to put in their maximum efforts in ensuring a free and fair elections in the second round for a massive victory for the NDC presidential candidate Professor John Evans Atta Mills. He described NDC's massive improvement especially in the parliamentary polls as a desire by well meaning Ghanaians to have a change in government after NPP failed to deliver on its campaign promises.

Mr Timunbe said as Ghanaians were yearning for a genuine change, they should translate this into votes for the NDC in the impending second round of the elections. He stressed the need for the leadership of NDC not to be complacent but use the period ahead of the next elections to impress upon disappointed NDC faithfuls to forget about the past and rally solidly behind the party.
