NPP Patriotic Youth Club inaugurated at Sefwi Ampenkro

Sefwi-Ampenkro (W/R), July 8, GNA - Ghanaian youth have been advised not to allow themselves to be used by selfish politicians to cause mayhem before, during and after the 2008 elections. Mr Christopher Addai, a Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, who gave the advice, urged the youth to organize clean-up exercises and assist their communities to undertake development projects to improve their living conditions. He said this when he inaugurated the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Patriotic Youth Club of Sefwi-Ampenkro in the Western Region on Monday. The MP cautioned the members not to hide behind the Club to meddle in chieftaincy affairs.

Mr Addai called on the Club to organize house to house campaigns to win more supporters for the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Mr Osei Kwadwo, Chairman of the Club, commended Mr Addai and Mr Kinglesy Adjei Manu, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for their regular visit to the constituency. He, however, appealed to Government to complete the Sefwi-Ampenkro electrification project and the Sefwi-Bekwai-Sefwi-Ampenkro feeder road before the end of December 2008.
