Orlando Pirates and Hearts of Oak lose ground

JOHANNESBURG, Aug 12 - Orlando Pirates of South Africa and Ghana's Hearts of Oak lost vital ground in their African Champions League group after playing out a 0-0 draw at Ellis Park on Saturday.

The two sides remain third and fourth in Group B, both without a win.

Hearts' goalkeeper Mohamed Sanni proved the hero with several fine second stops to deny the home side who have drawn all three of their group matches.

Sanni's heroics were enough to provide Hearts with their first point after losing the opening two matches but they have yet to score a goal.

His best save came on 56 minutes when he beat away a powerful close-range shot from Pirates' Zambian international Isaac Chansa.

The two sides meet again in a fortnight in Obuasi in their next group match.

On Sunday ASEC Abidjan of the Ivory Coast host Nigeria's Enyimba in the weekend's other Group B match. The pair share the lead with four points from their first two matches
