DFP presidential candidate votes

Accra, Dec.7, GNA - Mr Emmanuel Ansah Antwi, Presidential candidate for the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Sunday expressed satisfaction with the electoral process, calling on Ghanaians to conduct themselves peacefully to ensure the success of the polls. "I am satisfied with the arrangement of the EC and I entreat all Ghanaians to go out there, vote peacefully, go home and await the results," he said when he turned up at the Duah Clinic polling station in the Ayawaso Central constituency at exactly 1000 hours to cast his vote.

Dressed a white and accompanied by his wife, Joyce Sefakor and some party officials, Mr Antwi told the GNA that the election was about the future of Ghana and expressed optimism that he would emerge winner in the presidential polls. "This election is history in the making. It is not about people's father's names, the school they attended but about the future of this country and who can unearth the fortunes of the nation for the benefit of all. And that is me," he said. "I expect that at the end of the election, Ghana would have won for democracy and become an example for other countries".
