Ghana is 11th attractive business location in Africa

Accra (Greater Accra ) 28th Sept. ?99 - Ghana needs to re-strategise its investment promotion drive to attract more Foreign Direct Investments (FDI), Dr Joseph L.S. Abbey, Executive Director of the Centre for Economic Policy Analysis (CEPA) said on Monday.

He said in spite of all the efforts made in this direction, a recent survey conducted to rate attractive locations for business in Africa ranked Ghana 11th, while it placed sixth for improving its business environment.

The survey was conducted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
