Achimota-based church pastor accused of sleeping with members

Tell It All, a private Ghanaian Facebook page with a membership of about 233,116 people, had heated discussions on pastors taking advantage of their 'needy' church members over the weekend.

Barbie Nubi, the founder, and administrator of the page, in the early hours of Sunday, November 10, 2019, shared a story of one young woman, who wanted to remain anonymous for security reasons.

The anonymous poster, who said she was introduced to an Achimota-based Church, by her auntie, has ended up aborting three pregnancies for the pastor of the church.

The pastor whose name was withheld but can be identified with the first letter of his name a 'G', managed to convince the lady to cut ties with her mother and mother family members by accusing her mother of being a witch.

"When I moved back home, my aunty introduced me to a church around Achimota (name withheld) the pastor's name starts with a “G”... I honestly believe till today that, that man is truly anointed. We became extremely close, he was and still is single. He told me my mother was a witch, so I cut my mom and external family off."

She continued that the pastor started a sexual relationship with her. He bought her a car and travelled around the world in first class with her, but her sad ordeal began when she found out she was pregnant for the pastor, Ghanaweb monitored.

"Then I found out I was pregnant. I knew this will cause havoc so I told him we should quickly get married so people wouldn’t start judging us. But he insisted I abort the baby".

The lady who is very worried and is seeking for advice added that she ended up doing two more abortions for this same pastor because he was not ready to marry.

"Barbie it was difficult but I did. We continued our relationship. He never made an attempt to marry since that abortion. Then I got pregnant again, he said I should abort so I did the second time."

The last blow to have knocked her off was when she found out, the pastor was also having sexual relationships with other female church members.

"Eventually I realized he was having sexual affairs with two other ladies. That was a blow to my chest. The heartache was difficult to contain so I decided to stop going to that church".

After the first publication, the Tell It All founder, in another post, said, she has received reports from five different women on the same pastor 'G' in Achimota.



In another separate post, she shared the story of another poster who described herself as a victim of 'Pastor G'.

This victim believes all women who find themselves in relationship with Pastor G are hypnotized by his ability in ministry.

Greetings Barbie, I am pastor G’s “victim” I say “victim” in quotes simply because I wasn’t raped and so describing myself as such can be extremely tricky.

I idolized this man, he helped me through some tough times. I don’t know how I got to a point where he started ruling my very existence. I became a complete dummy, had sex when he wanted, travelled when he felt I should, I honestly didn’t care much about the other woman.

I had a wake up call when I almost bled to death after I told him I was pregnant. He took me to a doctor friend and that was the end.

Barbie this situation is extremely tricky, given the fact that non of us young women were forced to have sexual relationships with him.

I will say I was seduced, somehow hypnotized by his ability in ministry. But all that is behind me. I just think such a fine young man will give many a bad rep if this continues.

To handle this situation we need to report to a committee which is basically run by the same kinds of people. Let me know if there is another riot, I’m willing to speak up if something could be done to change the situation. Thank You
