Aflao Police arrests suspects in Aflao shooting incident.

Latest reports from Aflao say that the Police have begun arresting criminal elements operating around the Togo/Ghana border. According to DSP Samuel Semeh Wodah, the situation in Aflao is calm and there is no cause for alarm. He declined to give the number of people arrested, adding that it was too early to make comments. DSP Samuel Wodah said the investigations are still underway and that those persons identified as criminals will be prosecuted as soon as possible. He added that it was not true that the Police had brutalised any innocent persons during the operation. Three people died on Tuesday in a violent confrontation between the police and a mob.
