Medeama SC striker Prince Opoku Agyemang has revealed why he snubbed the likes of Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko before joining the Tarkwa-based side.
The player transferred to the Mauve and Yellows before the start of the 2019-20 Ghana premier league season from division one side, New Edubiase.
He was one of the most sought after players before settling on his current club.
In an interview with Truth Radio NY, Prince Opoku Agyemang has disclosed that there were approaches made by Ghana Premier league heavyweights Asante Kotoko and 2 time league winners Aduana Stars to sign him.
“Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars FC all came knocking but I chose Medeama”, Opoku Agyemang said
The 27 year old furthered that he chose Medeama because of getting ample playing time and has absolutely no regrets on how life has turned out so far at the camp of the 2015 FA Cup winners.
“I opted for Medeama SC because of playing time and I think I made the best choice” he concluded.
Prince Opoku Agyemang got off to a flyer in the 2019-20 season; despite playing in his debut campaign for Medeama SC, he netted 11 times in 13 games winning 5 MVP Awards.
With the league suspended, he has revealed he is itching for football to resume soon.
