...He names blackstars squad next week
Accra, Dec. 6 (JoyOnline) -- Black Stars coach Ratomir Dujkovic says he was not impressed with the standard of play exhibited by Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko in their Confederation Cup first leg final at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium last Sunday.
The Serbian who witnessed the nation?s best two sides in action on Sunday believes both teams need to work harder to make his job as Black Stars coach a lot easier.
He however intimated that some players who were exciting on the day would receive call-ups into the national team for the remaining matches of the World Cup qualifiers.
Dujkovic has penciled some fifteen players to constitute his locally based squad for preparations.
According to a local radio station, JoyFM, Asante Kotoko?s Stephen Oduro, Michael Osei and Issa Ahmed have won the coach?s admiration.
From Hearts of Oak, Dan Quaye, Amankwah Mireku and Dan Coleman are major picks by the national coach.
