GSE All-Share Index recovers slightly

Accra, Aug. 6, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index slightly recovered on Friday when it inched up 10.77 points to close at 6,254.03 points from 6,243.26 points the previous session.

The Index began the week on Monday at 6.290.73 points, but was unable to recover fully due to losses by listed equities.

The Change Year to Date was 12.23.

Traded volume was 142,902 shares valued at GH¢94,688.00. Shares of 15 equities changed hands with Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) leading the pack with 68,300 shares valued at GH¢8,879.00.

On the broader market, there were three price changes, all of which were positives. Fan Milk Limited (FML), the highest gainer went up GH¢0.05 to close at GH¢7.85, Unilever Ghana Limited (UNIL) gained GH¢0.04 to close at GH¢3.65 while Produce Buying Company Limited (PBC) appreciated by GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.17.

Market Capitalisation was 18,113.33 million on Friday from 18,105.05 million on Thursday issued shares.
