GSE All-Share Index soars

Accra, April 27, GNA - Gains by four equities during Thursday's trading pushed the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index up by 9.82 points from 4,770.21 points to 4,780.03 points.

Change for year to date was 0.23 per cent and volumes of shares traded were 250,000 shares with Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) selling 100,300 of the shares.

On the Broader Market EIC gained 292 cedis at 7,200 cedis; Aluworks (ALW) was 275 cedis richer at 6,500 cedis; Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) share price went up by 79 cedis at 6,300 cedis while Fan Milk Limited (FML) also appreciated by a cedi at 15,902 cedis. Market capitalisation went up to 92,427.57 billion cedis from 92,395.52 billion cedis during the previous trading.
