GSE All-Share Index continues to rise

Accra, April 14, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index on Thursday inched up 1.36 points to close trading for the long Easter break at 4,771.00 points from 4,769.64 points on Wednesday. Fan Milk Ghana Limited led the gains made by four equities when it finished 100 cedis richer to close at 15,900 cedis.

The three others, Aluworks (ALW) went up 19 cedis to close at 6,220 cedis; Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) was five cedis better at 6,216 cedis and Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) made two cedis to close 6,888 cedis.

The Change in the Year to date rose 0.04 per cent. Total shares traded more than tripled at 179,400 shares from 50,700 shares at the previous close. Fan Milk Ghana Limited sold the highest, 100,300 shares.

Market capitalisation went up to 91,954.07 billion cedis.
