Bourse ends marginally up

Accra, March 14, GNA - The Accra bourse ended marginally up in trading on Tuesday with volumes still yet to pick up. The GSE All-Share Index, main stock index, went up by 1.02 points at 4,740.83 points from 4,739.81 points while change for the year was -0.59 per cent. Market capitalisation ended at 91,873.72 billion cedis. Total shares traded ended at 403,200 Cocoa Products Company selling 351,400 shares.

There were four price changes, all positive. CAL Bank continued its recovery with a 15-cedi gain at 1,565 cedis while Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) gained three cedis at 6,865 cedis. Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited was two cedis better at 8,565 while Aluworks gained one cedi at 6,001 cedis.
