e-Crime Bureau, a leading cyber security and digital forensics firm was on Friday, June 29, 2018 adjudged the best cyber security consulting firm in Ghana at the 8th edition of the Ghana Information Technology & Telecoms Awards (GITTA).
The only cyber security category at this year’s event was keenly contested by other notable organizations in the industry.
The well attended event involving top organizations in Ghana’s ICT sector had the Deputy Minister of Communications, George Andah, deliver the keynote speech as well as presented award plaques to deserving organizations and individuals.
In his speech, Mr. Andah re-echoed government’s interest to develop a digitized economy by supporting the public and private sector to introduce the best and appropriate products and services to ensure growth across all sectors of the economy.
He urged industry players gathered to support this drive as partners to the government to achieve desirable outcomes.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Board and Staff, Mr. Kwame Antwi-Boasiako, Board Member of e-Crime Bureau expressed his delight for the industry recognition which comes to affirm e-Crime Bureau’s commitment to be a market leader and the preferred provider of cyber security, investigations & allied services and solutions not only in Ghana but also within the West Africa sub-region.
He stated that the award comes to encourage and challenge e-Crime Bureau to raise their level of excellence to their work output.
“e-Crime Bureau is a pioneer in the cybersecurity industry and this award is just an affirmation of the work we’ve started and we are continuing to do so. This encourages us to do even more; to set the standards higher for others to try to reach the standards that we have set” he said.
The prestigious annual GITTA event celebrates individuals and institutions whose work promote innovation and excellence in Ghana’s ICT sector.
