Multivet Ghana supports National COVID-19 Fund with GHS25,000

Multivet Ghana Limited, a Veterinary Pharmaceuticals company has donated GHS25,000.00 to the COVID-19 Fund to complement the Government of Ghana’s fight against the pandemic and also to assist in the welfare of the needy and the vulnerable in Ghana.

Presenting the cheque to the Head of the COVID-19 Trust Fund, Former Chief Justice, Justice Sophia Akuffo, at the Jubilee House in Accra, the Human Resource and Public Relations Manager for Multivet Ghana Limited, Mrs. Diana Akufo, who led the delegation, said the Management and Staff of Multivet Ghana limited, recognizes how the COVID-19 pandemic is wreaking havoc in the world including Ghana and as such, decided in their small way to donate an amount of GHS25,000.00 into the Trust Fund.

She indicated that, the donation was in line with the President’s call for all to support the fight against the coronavirus disease in Ghana.
Receiving the cheque, the Head of the COVID-19 Trust Fund, Former Chief Justice, Justice Sophia Akuffo, thanked the company for its contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“On behalf of the government, I will like to express our sincere gratitude to you for this donation. 'Ketewaa biaa nsua' that's why in the bible, the widow’s mite went a long way whereby our Lord recognised it and appreciated it. It is for that reason why your donation will go a long way”.

Further, Justice Sophia Akuffo thanked Multivet Ghana Limited and prayed that the company grows during this pandemic period, as most businesses, especially small ones, have closed down, however, Multivet Ghana decided to donate towards the fight against the disease.
