GCB networks its branches in Volta Region

Hohoe, Aug 12, GNA - Mr Samuel Quaye, the Ho zone area Manager of Ghana Commercial Bank, on Thursday said the bank's corporate strategy of networking its branches would induce efficiency, accessibility and position them for real competition.

Mr Quaye told the GNA in an interview that 55 branches out of a nation-wide number of 131 have been networked. He said three banks out of the 13 branches operating in the Volta Region have also been networked and these are Ho, Aflao and Hohoe branches.

Keta, Akatsi, Jasikan and Kpando branches that have been computerised would soon join the networking system and plans are afoot to computerise the Nkwanta branch.
